EDUCATION
One of Providigm’s fundamental goals is to help providers learn about quality improvement and compliance so they can do it on their own and pass along their knowledge to others in their organizations. Ranging from full-day courses that include detailed materials to conference presentations to customized live webinar sessions, our education programs are designed to provide that understanding in a group setting. Our programs can be delivered in larger venues with open enrollment, as we do with industry associations, or to private sector groups in a setting of their choice.
Headed by Cindy Mason, our educators are all experts in their respective fields with strong backgrounds in both clinical care and regulatory compliance. They share a commitment to helping the provider community simplify what are often complex systems, so they can be used effectively on a daily basis.
Two of our most popular courses are full-day curricula about the Quality Indicator Survey designed for nursing home administrators, directors of nursing and other facility staff. The first is our one-day Basic Course detailing the process that state surveyors use and teaching providers how these tools and procedures can be used in their own quality assurance and improvement programs. The second is our one-day Intermediate Course providing a more detailed exploration of practical, effective techniques to utilize the methods for quality assurance and continuous survey readiness, with illustrative resident scenarios.
